General Practitioner - Shockwave Therapy

Dr. Miguel Méndez obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Evangelical University of El Salvador in 2018. He has developed a solid international professional career, having been part of the clinical staff at the University of Texas at Austin, in the Department of Sports Medicine and Emergency Medicine, as well as a member of the clinical teams at Austin Diagnostic Clinic and Capital Medical Clinic in the United States.

Dr. Miguel Méndez is a member of the International Society for Medical Shockwave Therapy (ISMST), the world’s leading organization in the research and development of shockwave-based therapies. He also collaborated with the Department of Urological Research at Urology America, serving as a Research Assistant, where he strengthened his expertise in applied clinical research and international medical protocols.

He has received specialized training at Shockwave Academy in Atlanta, United States, and has participated in the International Shockwave Congress in Austria, accumulating over five years of clinical experience in the use of Shockwave Therapy for pain management, functional rehabilitation, and sports medicine.

He has also taken part in multiple international congresses and advanced training programs, consolidating his focus on biological medicine and bioregulatory therapies, integrating modern medical science with innovative approaches to promote patient health and well-being.

General Practitioner – Biological Medicine and Bioregulatory Therapies

Dr. Claudia Munguía de Méndez graduated as a General Practitioner from the Evangelical University of El Salvador in 2018.

Since the beginning of her career, she has combined clinical practice with training in biological medicine and bioregulatory therapies, specializing in neural therapy and ozone therapy, areas in which she has more than seven years of experience.

Throughout her career she has attended and given training in neural therapy and ozone therapy, contributing to the training of other professionals in the bioregulatory approach and in the use of homeopathic medicines and biological solutions for the comprehensive recovery of the patient.

In 2021, she obtained certification in Electroacupuncture from Volt in Germany, strengthening her mastery of bioenergetic and complementary therapies.

Subsequently, in 2023, she received certification in Shockwave Therapy in the United States, expanding her expertise in comprehensive pain management and functional rehabilitation.

Dr. Munguía de Méndez has also worked in the United States, serving on the clinical staff at Viven Health in Austin, Texas, where she trained in the management of infectious and sexually transmitted diseases. She also worked in family medicine and primary care, providing ongoing follow-up and personalized care to her patients.

Her medical vision is based on the integration of scientific knowledge with a human and natural approach to health.
